Did you know that Seattle people (at least those in our unscientific sampling) have no clue what bubble tea is?
Well, luckily up here in Vancouver we know what's good, and the good is gonna happen on Saturday, July 20 at 7:00PM at Jackie's favorite bubble tea hangout:
Pearl Cafe
7150 Sperling Ave., Burnaby, BC
(this is just off Kingsway near Middlegate Honda)
As mentioned in previous threads, this is a low key casual thing. Frank, Melody, and I will be there for sure, everyone else is welcome to join us.
Please post if you plan on coming so we know how big of a table to get.
Attendees:
Chungtaho0918
Melody
Geppetto
Spoonek4
Indecision +1 (TBC)
If we have more than 8 people, we will have to squish, but that is fine because that is when Cong's super large group discount really kicks in!!!

We're tentative for 7pm. Will confirm later in the week. I've been there every day this weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday!
If we have a large event we must include Bubble tea in there for our friends from Seattle, they don't know what they're missing. Bubble tea is like 100octane gas for the F20C, only it's for the driver
BTW, anything more than 8 people they'll have a problem fitting us

I have to admit, when I described it to them I think I turned them off bubble tea for life. It might have had to do with my description of the pearls as being a bit like drinking fish eyes
We'll have to work on getting them up here for some of our finer dining experiences -- sushi and bubble tea (I know, I know they have sushi in Seattle too...)
