Vancouver -- clear corner conversion!
Hi All:
For those in Vancouver interested in the clear headlight conversion, I got mine done at A to Z Euro Autobody on Boundary. I've known those folks for a long time -- they've done all the body work/repairs for my family's cars.
The whole thing cost me 260 CDN cash (taxes in). The one 'gripe' I have is that since they're charing a lower rate for the job, they won't make it a priority. So if you're looking for an immediate conversion, or are working on a tight schedule, make sure you let them know -- but you may have to pay a premium.
Anyways, if you're interested call Dean at 604-293-1271 and tell him Richard with the black S2K referred you.
BTW, I'm not advertising for them -- just passing on my experience since there was some interest during the meet yesterday (Sept. 22).

If you are considering this mod, $260CAN sounds very reasonable. It took me almost six hours to do my lights, and the whole project is quite involved.
Some hightlight of the do it yourself version. You will need to remove your front bumper. Finding the four hidden bolts. Heating the headlight assemblies to 200+ degrees. Prying the headlights apart with a scewdriver. Resealing the assemblies with silicone.

Good points Jerry!
The seal is very important to avoid condensation in the unit. If you're gonna go through with the mod, make sure you spend the extra time to properly seal the units!
