well it won't affect the safety. the bulb is still the same and will be just as bright, if not brighter. but i think its quite costly to clear our the headlight. side marker is easy. has anyone cleared out their blinker in the headlight housing?

Its not that hard really I did it in about 3-4 hours. Only cost was the cost of the sealent--$20 from my dealer. I purchased replacement windshield adhesive, it work very well.
Here are the directions to do it youself. Clearing headlights If you need help just ask.

I did my headlight clearing at Generation 1 in Anaheim, CA. It's a few blocks past disneyland and they do a very good job. Total cost is $145 which is very reasonable (includes hyper white bulbs) but it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.

$20? !!!!! I bought a tube of black windshield sealant from Autozone for $6. Worked perfectly.
Hamada, If you do a search on the forum, you will find many articles on how to do it. I had to set my oven at 215 degrees to get the lights apart. You can't rush the job, but I believe the results are definitely worth it if you have some patience!
Oh, and I went with the Hyperwhite bulbs too. There has never been an instance of someone not seeing my turn signals.
