Hey Steve one of these days ill come to taco tuesday and you'll see why i can't track as of now. I never posted a challenge with you but if it sounded that way i guess ill have to track with you guys and find out. I never mentioned that im good at tracking just said i used to street race is all. Oh do you remember Dr. Kang who used to have a silverstone stookie? He'll vouch for me if you ask him. Also he'll tell you why im in no condition to track.

I'm not challenging anyone. I'm just saying that almost everyone, myself included, thinks they're the world's greatest driver when all they've ever done is drive around on the street -- there's no objective measurement to prove otherwise. Showing up to the track or an autocross is usually a very rude wakeup call, as suddenly a cold, hard, numerical measurement comes into play. The sooner you take it off the streets and to the track, the sooner you can start improving your skills beyond the level it's possible to reach on the street. That's all.

Having said that, if you want to do a little challenge, let's agree to do it at an autocross and lay a little money on it to make things interesting as well.

sorry man ohlins are at another level than your JDM boy racer coilovers
i never said they werent, however i have access to teins at about 1100 a set and i could replace them three times for the price of the ohlins, the handling improvemnts would be minimul at best and coilovers, if you like a car slammed like i do where out extremly fast....so why would i spend that much on them?

High-end shocks are easily rebuildable / revalvable -- instead of throwing them out, you just take them apart, replace the oil and seals, and slap them back on.

Having said that, your point is valid -- if you're just driving around on the street, high-end shocks are a tremendous waste of money.
