Default Who should I have tune my AP1

I posted on HT and everyone said: Speedfactory, Kaizenspeed or Richtuning. Any of you guys have experience from any of these shops or a different one? Dyno plots would also be nice. Thanks in advance.

Full street and dyno tune with an AEM EMS v2. My AP1 just has bolt on's.

All I have right now is word of mouth. No real proof that x guy is the best or better than the y guy. Lets see some dyno plots!

Get a couple vouches from guys that have sick setups and you'll be more than okay!! Your tune is the easiest of tunes, and the tuner will already have quick n' dirty baselines to run from. If anyone on here is vouching for a tuner, they are *without a doubt* going to bring out the full potential of your bolt-ons, as it's Tuner 101 -- i wouldn't have said any of this if you had an off-the-wall/homebrew EMS, ITBs or anything else which would be more 'fun' to tune Good luck!

If you are just bolt on's, I think all of the ones mentioned above should be more than capable of tuning to your satisfaction. It shouldn't be too difficult for them to tweak a basemap to get you more power. I have heard that PSI is the best place for AEM in the PACNW. My buddy has a turbo s2k tuned on AEM v2. Let me know if you wanna get in contact with him.

My main issue is the VTEC cross-over. I've saw WAY to many improper cross-overs on this forum, by "good" tuners. This is why I want to see dyno plots.

Best place is definitely PSI in Portland when it comes to AEM on the s2k. My car starts and idles like stock and made lots of power :0)

Vtec cross-over is a very important part of a good tune. Vtec should be heard but not felt. If the cross-over is too late or too early you will see a drip in power and torque. Ideally, you always want to maintain a flat torque curve, this will be conducive to rising HP and a solid power-band.
