Unhappy Wind Deflector HELP!

Hello!!!!!!

Can someone PLEASE help me?

I just bought the wind deflector and I don't know how to install it..The base has two holes for screws and I don't see holes on the compartment lid. Do I have to drill holes???

the 2K S2k did not come with the wd. Drill holes or get an '01+ cover.

I'm not sure but I remember WRS2k saying he liked the no wind deflector look and didn't want the holes he had in his lid. He might have already got a lid without holes but you could try him.

Otherwise just drill them. Take off the lid and drill from the bottom side. I believe their are grooves where the holes should be, so it shouldn't be that hard to get it right.

I have a larger wind screen and it works (like rick's full screen). Its not as good as a mesh screen, but it deflects the wind over my head. I recently had it off for a few days and couldn't stand driving at 70mph on the freeway without a hat. The wind would be pounding my head. I also felt a diference at 40mphs driving around the streets. So I'd say it works well enough.
