Default 2 more from the recent outing

Here are 2 more from my recent shooting excursion. LMK if the crop on the leaf works.

Thanks Dave

Milkweed

Lonely Leaf

Both are losing sharpness due to resizing for upload.

I'm a noob (well its been a while so i consider myself a noob) but the first one is great. Like you said the resizing caused a loss in sharpness so the second one looks somewhat pixleated (SP?) so as it looks now the crop should be closer, but under normal clarity I think it would look great. Anyway, I really like the first pic, good cropping, detail, and color!

First is nice -
The crop on the second seems too close IMO.

I like the first photo of the milkweed. Simple, clean, nice DOF, and sharp.

Aslo, nice framing.

The crop on the leaf seems ok to me, but there is some strange banding in the oof area in that image that is really distracting me from being able to really look at the picture. I don't think it's from resizing (unless you're using some weird compression), but I honestly have not seen anything like that in a photo before.

^ Actually its part of where the crop of the original shot was made, that shot was a long exposure and what is blurred is flowing water. It just happens to be cropped where it leads your eye right to that blur in a crapy way I might add. Do not be afraid to be harsh on C&C as im harder than all when it comes to my own shooting. FTR seeing the shot now on my large monitor I hate it, i will leave it up for discussion sake. The first shot the milkweed is going straight to print I that one.

Thanks for the comments.
