So I was fooling around with this picture (sort of interesting):



and I created this:



and this:



-just thought I'd share. Animated GIF's are easy to make.

Pretty cool... Great subject matter as well!

A friend of mine showed me over the summer how ot make one.. I did it using shots I took of the Blue Angles and although the images didnt line up, I still liked the results.

Get a series of still frame pictures and PS them to the same image size. Then save the jpegs to GIFs.

Now, google a freeware animated GIF compiler (there are lots of these, I use a MAC version)

Drop and drag your individual photos into the GIF compiler and set the delays. Save the animated GIF file. Uploads to a website and link picture.

I do mine in PS CS2 "Image Ready"

Why not just open your animation window in CS2 and go to town there? I've found the final results are more along the lines of what you want there instead of ImageReady.

Top drop downs -> Window -> Animation

Image ready was the way I learned.. it was straight forward and simple. I only made one animation (the one displayed) and never tried again.
