Default Anyone ever use this lens?

I've been looking for another prime to purchase other than my "nifty-fifty". I came across the 35mm f/2.0, I like the price and I definitely want to pick it up in the near future.

I was also looking at the Canon 28mm f/1.8 lens and I was just wondering if anyone has given this lens a try or heard anything about it.

Is it worth the price or not? Just wanted to get some feedback on this before I make a decision.

The 28 f/1.8 has a much better b uild than the 35 f/2.0. I believe he IQ is a lot better too.

The 35 f2 was my first DSLR lens. Very sharp. Focus sounds a bit like a buzzsaw though, but it's pretty fast.

Maybe I should try it out too! I would strictly MF it though.

Look into this lens.. Much better build, larger aperture, and better optics..

I've been looking into that lens extensively for quite some time now. I think I'll just save for the 24L.

I know, things have definitely changed. yeah my car went through a little color change my photography is coming along at a much slower pace than it was before, I'm trying to get back into it.

Thinking of going Nikon soon i mean I wouldn't get rid of my 5D, but just give it a try

How you been buddy? Haven't seen you around the boards in awhile.

the more i read about that lens, the more I'm thinking it might be a better value, but the 28mm f1.4 still looks so good

I will vouch for the 28 1.8 every day. I love that lens although it is a bit too wide for my liking.
