So I went with the gf and my friend and his wife up to the Poconos for the long weekend. A day at Bushkill Falls, some horseback riding and rafting for the weekend.

Here's some shots from the falls:

Bridal Falls

Along one of the flat sections with some rocs and impedements in a pretty quick moving stream, and

This frog. He jumped onto this rock while I was shooting the above pic. I just pointed the camera down while still using the tripod and I took what I could get. The exposure is long enough to get some silkiness on the water going around him, but he stayed fairly calm through the whole thing.

I like the 2nd and 3rd ones, but I feel like the first one was too "obvious" of a viewpoint. It is centered both vertically and horizontally, makes me want to see either more or less of the surroundings.

On all of them however it seems your shutter speed was spot on.

Thanks guys. The spots available for shooting are somewhat limited by the bridges and trails avilable. Sometimes you take what you can get.

The waterfall is actually 2 exposures. When I combined them using HDR I got some odd yellow/green highlights in the water, so I just layered them and played with the opacity to get both the water and surroundings (seemingly) exposed correctly.
