Default Capture NX2

Alright, I'll start this off by saying I only have a Nikon, so I don't need to worry about editing other RAW files.

I'm looking at getting some editing software. I'm not going to be messing with my images too much in terms of photochopping them, but I would like to make them closer to perfection than they are.

My problem is I don't really have the money for CS4. I can get CS4 Premium for $400, and Capture for $120.

Finally getting to my question - is it worth saving the money to get Capture NX2 over CS4? I know CS4 is photo editing god software, but how good is NX2 in comparison? If anyone has used both and can provide some comparisons, please let me know.

Thanks!

If you're not going to do major editing, what about Photoshop Elements? Or Lightroom? Or if you have a Mac, Aperture?

CaptureOne 4 hands down. For the record, I have all editing software that will get mentioned, and CaptureOne 4 is the best IMHO (and most reviewers as well.)
