since i do this fer a living ..and yes i love it!!!!

here is a tip..if you are super new to photoshop...go to U-tube and look fer TUTS. there. It will be a lot easier to learn that way...most of thoes you can see where they are making the slections or finding a hidden effect....the pratice with a written one. At lest for me i learn by watching a few times then i can expan my knowlege with written TUTS.
But if you are really serious..take a photoshop course at your local CC.
