No detail added - just a bit of sharpening and lightening in places. The background is actually some small (eight foot) coniferous trees, about 100 feet away on a slight ridge.

^^^ I like this as well!

This is how my wife and I have chosen to reveal the name of our second child to our friends, family and the world.

Setup:
1 Yongnuo YN560 (Approx 1/2 power) with a series of blue gels shot against a white background and 1 Metz 58 AF-2 @ 1/32 power in a 43" umbrella softbox.

Stars were added in post.

Do you mind me asking how/why you picked that name? Very rare name (Biblical, I know).

Reason I ask is that my son has a rare name as well (Asher)...

We all have five letter names and one night my wife mentioned this one. We were having trouble agreeing, but Uriah was the first one we both liked and has a great meaning.

Good stuff! Nice to see people putting some real thought into their kids names as opposed to just saying "it sounds good" or something like that.

Very nice name and cute pic/idea
My wife and I are waiting to find out what we are having. If its a boy he takes my name with father in laws as middle. I its a girl...well, we are still trying to nail down a girls name for her. We got the top 3 and all have great biblical meanings and sound good. We might go in there with 3 and hopefully once we see her, one will stand out.

On my way to a shoot now, hope to have a good one to post later
