January Photography Thread
Almost posted in the December thread but I guess it's time for a new one.
I sold all of my DSLR equipment back in October since it spent 95% of it's life sitting in a bag in my closet. I knew I wanted to stay in photography but I didn't want the hassle of a DSLR nor the cost. For Christmas this year I decided to pick up a Sony RX100, while it is a point and shoot it is just an incredible camera with a nice large sensor and great image quality. I figured I wanted something that produced great results and still fit in my pocket (pocket-ability was a big thing to me). This is a quick shot I took this morning and while the content isn't great (except for the car
) I think it demonstrates the cameras great ability. Shot at 1/30 f1.8 with the on camera flash bounced off the ceiling.
