You guys take pics that really pop how about another subject besides your S2000's???
I like the Princess pic and the sky pic too. Not sure about the guy with the iphone and the crooked horizon. Never sure what the tilted pics are about.
Here are a couple of my recent ones. Still a hobbyist, with the Canon Rebel xsi, no interest or time to shoot raw and edits are minimal.
Comments welcome. I like nature and eclectic things as my subjects. I took the rose pic with the macro on a tripod, but it may still not be quite sharp enough??? Focus issue??

^^
actually i got into photography cause of my major, industrial design, and we had to learn product photography. so i guess i do some of that, but when it's for fun it's usually cars lol, i need to get more into landscape and such.
and to answer your question about your flower being out of focus, i think it might be because your aperture was set too low. be wary of setting it too low cause it makes the focal point very narrow and starts to blow things out outside of the focal point. at least that's what happened to me when i forget to change my aperture from like f/1.8. or it could be that you are too close to the flower and your camera couldn't focus enough, i don't know what kind of macro lens you have
here are a couple pics taken in june for my internship, taking detail shots of one of their products
EDIT: ^^an example of what i'm talking about when the aperture is set low is this one. you can see where the focal point is and then it starts to blur everything once it's out of the focal point. in this case it was intentional, but pictures before this one was blown out too much and the focal point was too small
