does anyone know a good location around the bay area in california where i can take my s2000 for a photoshoot?

One of the hardest parts about good photography. Any idiot can learn about exposure and any one with deep pockets can buy the latest and greatest gear.

Good luck in your search.. See if you can get the bridge in the frame!
