Had a photo shoot a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to start editing some of the images. The photo is of my fiancee on the steps of Yale's Common court yard.

I thought it was kinda edgy and dark with a girly twist. My rendition of a Modern Witch.

Trying really hard to find some good critiques but I simply can't find anything to nitpick about. Colors are excellent, separation between foreground and background is excellent, lighting and exposure is excellent, the pose is dynamic but not overly done, aperture and focus seem spot on.

The only thing I guess I would comment on is, until I read your description, I did not notice that the light was coming from the bag. It's not quite bright enough to cast the really evil looking shadows on her face, but honestly I don't think that was your intention anyway.

only thing for me is that I'm not sure about her facial expression, but everything else is wow, love it!

Really cool idea - to refine a few suggestions above:

1) Flash pointing more at her face, instead of her chest.
2) The "Facebook" snarl doesn't do it....maybe a more sinister look towards the camera??
