Last image of the DP green bottle is about the best High ISO I've seen. The 800 ISO at the bottom of LL is also a great example.

I did test some RAW AI-Servo ISO 200 shots this morning in Manhatten.....I'm even more impressed. 6.5 looks like a claymation movie in the review.

Monochrome mode is nice as well.

but maybe I'm too harsh....

Hmm the LL review says equal or better image quality than 5D... Seems too good to be true.

My boss has a 5D... we shall do a side-by-side test. I'm picking this up either tomorrow or Friday. I need to go through my bedroom and find stuff to sell to cover the difference or at least most of it. I'm only working part time now so I don't have the play money I used to.

If it really is that close, I'll do some 100% crops and set up a web site for the comparison. I'll show both images and make the viewer choose 40D / 5D (like a quiz... ) with the results calculated at the end.
