I am planning to purchase this, but I am little confuse that which brand is best. Can anyone in this forum suggest that which brand is best and from where I can buy. I'll wait for your reply.

If you have a Canon camera, the Canon lens is best for this focal length

Very nice! I just picked up the 2.8 non IS. I love the big white lens, gets a lot of stares tho.

Seems like you got the new version, it's "whiter" than mine. Mine is a bit more cream colored. Why did you wrap it in black? Seems to defeat the purpose of Canon's reasoning for painting them white in the first place.

That looks like the original, not the II, to me. I imagine that it's just the white balance of the photo.
