My first video on 5D M2
Thought Id put a small video together of some clips i have collected. It has no theme, nor is it supposed to make sense.

Im trying to learn more about cinematic styles, and making videos in general. Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks

Off topic: @0:29 creeped me out a little.
On topic: How are you keeping your videos so crisp through out the movie? I find myself fidgeting with the focus a lot with my 60D. Shooting video is almost impossible for me.
Nice work though! Very dramatic for what is actually is.

You need some sort of substantial "rig" or stabilization system for the camera, particularly if you intend to shoot handheld. Might I suggest looking at Redrock Micro: http://store.redrockmicro.com/
They were interesting shots, but think about the stabilization of the camera, which helps remove the jitters that develop from using CMOS for video.
Obviously, for those shooting videos on the fly, higher F stop is needed. Though that defeats some of the point of using 5/7/60Ds for video.

Haha, thanks guys.
Its my first time trying out some cinematic styles I see commonly on movies, or short films etc. Im trying out many differnt aspects, panning, gliding, etc. Focusing the camera takes some practice, with some of the focus in and out shots in the video, I actually had taken multiple shots trying to get it as smooth as possible.
Its just random collections of short clips that I had tried in a video with no point or purpose whatsoever.
Yea, the handheld ones are all from handheld, Im really getting interested into videography as well. Looking at the prices of some rigs such as Glidecam... oh my god they are really expensive! (for what they are). Eventually I would like to own them as well.
The panning was done with the camera on the tripod and trying to manually turn the camera as smooth as possible.
