Ritz Camera is shuttering <chuckle> over 300 of its stores, and the clearance sale starts April 4th. There may or may not be some good deals, but I imagine it will be similar to Circuit City, CompUSA, etc where they markup the prices incredibly high and then say 60% off. Still, I came away from the Circuit City clearance with a couple of dirt cheap 750kVA UPSs and stuff like that. I figure quite a few of us need camera equipment, lens cleaning papers/solutions, etc. at some point in our careers, so now may be a good time to get them locally at internet prices (or lower).

I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did. Online printing and development had to have killed their business.
