noob question.

how do you guys get the perimeter of the pictures to kinda fade or get darker. is that photoshop or the lens?

it's called vignetting, you can do it with photoshop, but some lenses produce it on their own.

i guess just google "vignette tutorial photohop"

Its nice to see someone else with an alpha. 03 AP1, how did you get your vignette on your pics is it because of your lens or did you create it in photoshop. I like how soft yours is compared to some other and some of the tutorials.

I do it in PP using Aperture. I do it with most of my photos as I really like the effect.

That looks very similiar to the Canon 70-200..

anyways, that's impressively sharp - USM?
