Default Nikon D700

anyone heard of this? it was on nikon rumors, too. but what I heard was, on different source, this would be full frame, similar to D300 with minor difference except there aren't CF door open lever. it also has internal flash like D300 but SB-900 is also in development, i heard.

SB-900? Geez, over a decade of awesomeness from my SB-24 went out the window when I "had" to buy the SB-800 for Nikon's iTTL bodies. If the SB-900 intros some new system I'll scream.

$3k is an awful lot of green for what's rumored!

A decent Live View mode would be cool. Maybe if ISO 200 is smoother than butter and higher ISO's don't hurt my eyes, sync speed is astounding, mirror locks up, yadda yadda...

Does anyone else want to see camera designs with a slide in/out low-pass filter? We're post-processing anyway so why not leave the choice to us?!

it is the same sensor as the d3 so high iso should look awesome.

one other rumor I heard, that you might consider negative, is it only have one CF slot.

I believe it's design is based on D300. - it shares MB-D10. So it might be capable of live-view though i never use it.
