Thumbs up Point and shoot

hey,

i am not sure if this is the right sub-forum to be posting in. i just thought since this thread is about photography these guys should be able to help me out. my name is alan. i am looking for a great point and shoot camera. i have been searching around for a ultra thin camera; preferably with digital zoom (only with high mp), it can have optic zoom but the overall camera has to be relatively thin; i would like it to have a touch screen but the touch screen has to be easy to use as in "i don have to hit he button 3 or 4 times to select it"; i would like it to have a pretty big back screen; a zoom equal or more than 4X, a great steady and focus quality in the pictures, HD would be nice, auto adjustments is also preferred, another aspect i hate is that lag in shutter or when flash is on and it takes forever to take the picture. i just hate holding down the button for more than 2 seconds to take a picture. also indoor and outdoor picture quality is important and so battery life of 200 pics would be fine.

i have looked and multiple cameras, i have researched anywhere from the panasonic fh20 to the fp3 to the sony cybershots t series and tx series.

i just need some insight on these camera if u guys use them and how u just like them and what you guys dont like about them. feel free to throw other camera that could fit these criteria.

sorry for such a long post. thank you for the help.

+1 for suggesting you look at the S90 as the best combination in a shirt-pocket camera, most of what you're looking for. Control dials > touch screen but you have the right to insist.

Digital zoom? Why? Just crop your photos later, exact same effect.
