Ah.. thanks for the heads up. I'm going to try this when I get the chance and see if I can sharpen some of the pictures... it's definitely a starting point.
When we talked at DBR you made a comment about how the purchase of a camera is the cheapest and least time consuming part... you weren't kidding... now I want a new bag, a new lens, a new this, a new that, etc..etc... and once I actually take the photo, I want to do so much with it..

Poindexter, clean example workflow. Is there a reason you noise-reduce after sharpening? I thought noise reduction, even generic (I'm using Noise Ninja calibrated to my camera), was best done before any other adjustments that affect tone?

Usually the sharpening increases the noise, but I guess you can do it before or after - test it to see which one you like better.

WillieGee owed me a at DBR after he gave my away to someone else at WTD.. How he got me confused with Mitch (a 6 foot white guy) is beyond me...

If you are getting noise from sharpening you might want to back off the sharpening just enough to not get noise.

i must be doing something wrong..i tried this last night and it doesn't give me the option to sharpen the whole picture (and didn't get a seperate screen either).

maybe i'm doing something wrong... although , i am using an old version of photoshop 6.0
