How do you guys do yours, what apps do you use?
Currently I convert to TIFF in Capture One then fiddle in CS2, but i find it a PITA!

Currently I convert to TIFF in Capture One then fiddle in CS2, but i find it a PITA!
I also use CS2. I started using RAW since you guys keep recommending it. Now when I pp my pictures, my time is cut nearly in half of what I usually do and I can recover most of what could've been a bad picture using jpegs.

Guys... If you open your files in RAW and then convert to TIFF or Jpeg to edit, you are defeating the purpose of RAW itself. Edit "IN" RAW and save final result as a TIFF
PITA is spot-on but so far Nikon View's conversion is best for me. Adobe's is no slouch (not the base plug-in) but when the chips are down I get a touch more from Nikon's D-Light than Adobe's shadow recovery.

Download the latest update files from Adobe and isntall the Camera RAW pluging... Restart computer, and it will work.
