I have a Dell 24". Its nice, around 600 bucks I think, probably cheaper if you can wait for one of those crazy sales they sometimes do.

I just started taking pics in raws. I just mess with the sliders in CS2 and make it look good in my own opinion.

Any recommends for a nice 24"?
Eizo provides a great 24" LCD for image editing.

I was looking at the Dell's - they get the best reviews in most magazines and I've been happy with mine at work. However....I was just in the market for a 24" myself and noticed they were around $600. I then checked on 22" Dell monitors and saw that they were just under $300, so I bought two - massive desktop FTW

Just tried lightroom and it is INCREDIBLE. Tons of the shots that I thought I'd screwed up, the kinds I'd normally just delete without a second thought, are 100% usable after putting it through Lightroom.

I am currently trying out Lightroom. So far so good and I like it very much. Photographs that require heavy editing will still need to be used in Photoshop, however, that shouldn't be a problem if you've taken good pics.

I still can't believe that I haven't used RAW mode earlier. I guess it's because I'm using the old Canon Drebel and it is soooooo slow! Lightroom saved a lot of my images that I thought were helpless to save.
