Thumbs down Question about CS4 on Windows 7

I am having some problems running CS4 on my new computer. What I did was put CS4 (from my old comp) on a CD then placed all that stuff in the Adobe folder on my new laptop.

I can open CS4, however when I try to open a JPG it gives me some error message about some viewer blah blah.

Anybody have any suggestions other than spending the $200 on another copy?

This copy was illegally downloaded via a torrent then given to me of course

yea thats DEF not going to work... Tons of other components have to be installed / registered let alone a bunch of registry settings.

You have to go through the entire install process. Just reinstall...

And FTR adobe can easily track illegal copies. Look up omniture and macromedia than look in your services folder
