Also, is it the lower the mAh the better? I noticed that 1600 or 1500 mAh batteries are way cheaper than 720 mAh.

mAh stands for milliamp hours and is directly related to how long the battery will last. (More is better.) However, cheap batteries with a higher mAh rating may not last through as many charging cycles so it's not the only thing to consider.

It could be for real. I took a chance on some parts like that (DC adapter plus aftermarket NiMH battery) from two e-bay sellers for my Kenwood GMRS radio. It shipped direct from China and I got them in about two weeks. I'm happy with them but I could just as easily been burned I suppose.

i've heard that aftermarket grips sometimes give you a little trouble as the connectors don't line up, fit isn't good, etc.

as far as batteries go, i only go OEM.

Yeah, I'll only go Canon Grip. I thought it was a canon grip. Can I get OEM batteries off of B&H or adorama or something?

No that's fake. Dont use the Canon OEM batteries, they're over priced. Sterlingtek batteries last forever and it's cheap!

90% of POTN members use these, I use them as well.

and is this battery different than those two on the above link? This one doesn't list the XTi(400D) as a compatible source.
