Default Sites with beginner tips?

Just ordered a DSLR and I'm quite new to all this. Does anyone have any sites that they can recommend to help me get started?

Thanks!

Become a member and start posting on photo.net Your images will be rated and critiqued. You will not like the feedback, it's harsh, but you will grow from it...

depends which camera you bought.

There are many model specific sites that will definitely help.
Have a quick read here too:

Good site for both Canon specific information and general photography information.

Norm, with all due respect Photo.net isnt really a picture site anymore its become a photoshop site. It is very very rare that you will see a non-pshopped photo on there and most are severely ps'ed. It is a great site to see photography and ps combined though.

Well, there used to be a box that you could click to post the image as an original non edited photo. That's what I used to post as. Is that not there anymore? Also, I was suggesting it as a photo posting site for critique, and not for him to search.
