I was using a Canon 20D with a 400mm f5.6L and a 1DMKII with a 70-200mm f2.8L IS. Most of the birds in flight were caught with the 1D and most of the tighter ground shots are with the 20D.

This was my first time shooting with the 400mm and I definitely need more practice. Everything I shot was handheld.

Thanks for the compliments so far
Very cool. That's encouraging seeing I took delivery of a 70-200 F4L the other day, haven't had a chance to take it out to see its true range (course if you had it on the 1D it was 200, on my 30D its about 312....even better.)

Thanks again.

Your second one is probably my favorite. What were you shooting with?

Yeah, that's the new 70-200 F/4L (on a 10D).
We had a nice brunch with my mother and step-father last week and we walked around the marina afterwords. Unfortunately, my shots don't have the WOW factor like the set Poindexter posted.

It's funny.. the more I shoot, the more I'm seeing the benefits of shooting RAW, but I just hate all the PP that's necessary. The ones I shot above were jpeg.
