Videographers
Giong to do a bucket list trip and hike Kalalau. I want to take some video and good pictures. I am not a great photographer and know nothing about it really but am going to get an entry dslr, probably a Nikon D3200 for its video quality. Anywho.....I am going to pick up a stabilizer for the hike.
It is my goal to shoot something like this:

Most of that video was taken where I will be going, but I want to make a dvd of great quality to remember the trip.
The stabilizer in that video is only $500, which I will spend if I have to, but I see lots of really cheap alternatives and wondering if people have used one of the cheapies and if it worked well.

haha, I got fooled. I watched the video first then read your comment (I thought you shot it).
I bought a $100 stabilizer and it's hard as hell to balance. My friend have an $800 one and he also says the same thing.
