First Digital Camera:
Creative Lab PC-CAM 300
Year: 2001
Got this while in college. It only had a resolution of 640x480 & took video at 320x180. It had no LCD screen to review shots. It in general sucked; but hey it took shots.
Second Digital Camera
Nikon Coolpix 5600
Year: 2005
This thing had like a 1.5" lcd screen, 5.1 megapixels of fury, took SD cards, generic portrait/landscape/sport modes. It took video I believe at 640x480. At the time I thought that this is "it" as in the last camera I'd need (haha). Overall for the times, not a bad camera really, blew away the creative labs POS.
Third Digital Camera
Nikon Coolpix S210
Year: 2008
This camera wasn't so much of a step up from the 5600 in terms of features. It was just a refined version. More megapixels (8.1), larger screen (2"), lighter, better image compilation. I like this one quite a bit, it makes for a good carry anywhere camera, still carry it now for on the go shots.
Fourth Camera
Canon T2i
Year: 2010
This is the big dog. I don't need to explain it to anyone. I got it with the 18-135mm kit lens as pictured. This one is a huge jump in terms of features and performance for me. It might come off as a strange comparison, but the jump from the S210 to the T2i was about as epic as the jump from the PC-CAM 300 to the 5600. You gotta love the progress of technology.
