I have found petro-can gas give better response to my car (MR2 Turbo) and smoother idle. But this might be cause by lower ignition timing ( smoother engine ) and higher exhaust gas temperature that rage2 talked about. ( Since my car is turbo charged and higher exhaust gas temp. gives faster spool up )

Just some observations from drive with different gas

Best idle / throttle response - Petro Canada
Best power/but noisy engine - shell
Esso - inbetween ... Just doesn't feel right, but speedPass is really a good feature

The other reason I use petro-Can is because I like the Techro additive to clean my injectors and such ( I am assuming its a similar product to Chevron's Techron additive )

Great to hear! Now if lowly Edmonton could be so blessed I'd be a very happy guy. Quick a calculator - if I drive to Calgary for a fill - then drive back - no leaves me a 1/4 tank - well I could turn around then drive back to Calgary then----------

For those who can't get the 94 octane, just figure out how much ethanol it would take to add to a tank of 91 or 92 octane to bring it up to 94.

Well I got a response - from a real person!! at Husky customer service.

She indicated that the Calgary station is a "market test" for Alberta and if they see a lot of use, would bring it to Edmonton in '04 - we come in second again - sic.

Hope the guys and gals in Calgary (we may make a trip or two), will make the drive for a fill up and mention to your friends - heck even try it in your Honda mower!!!
