Default Acura TSX, highly recommended !!

I bought an 04' Acura TSX today as my primary driver and must say it is a sheer delight. Although not overly powerful, it's 2.4 Litres (200HP/166 LB-FT Torque) of displacement provide for a very flexible powerband (7100 RPM redline). 6 speed Gearbox is a jewel (like most Honda's). I looked at many different cars and the TSX cannot be beat for the money, it comes fully loaded, the only option is a nav system, which I passed on. Handling is amazing too !! If you are looking for a reasonably priced, fun, spacious car, consider the TSX.

I noticed no difference between both of your threads, so I removed one of them... I kept the one with the most-recent time stamp.

And yes, very sweet car!

I checked one out at the car show a couple of weeks ago. I was VERY impressed with the quality of interior. The fit, finish and feel was above BMW and MB imo.

Matrix, You are bang on. The TSX meets or beats the entry level German cars in almost all aspects. I love the German cars but find it annoying everything is optional, the price get's rather absurd quickly. I consider Audi's interiors to be amongst the best out there and find the TSX's to be as good and better in some regards compared to the A4 (the leather is much better in the TSX, it's not even standard on the A4). I drove the new TL (dynamic package) as well, I would easily take it over the new 5 series and save myself the $25 - $30,000 differential. The new TL is a fantastic car !!

Now all they need is a RWD or AWD option

Apparently the next RL is going to be AWD, this is a start. The current RL badly needs an overhaul and the next one is supposed to be a real competitior. C & D is the only publication who has given the new TL lukewarm reviews. One day they like a car, the next day they don't ?? They have done it to the S2000 and always do it with the 3 series and Infiniti G35. I find it funny they can list the Ford Focus as a 10 best year after year even though the car has had reliability issues (14 plus recalls) and questionable build quality. I told Asif Ford must be stifling them with money. I found very little noticeable torque steer in the new TL, yet C & D rants about it. It is a deceptively quick car.
