Alberta S2k Sightings Thread
Yep..I have been to raves on occasion...but not because I wanted to.....LOL
I came up with the idea for the plate when I had my Prelude. I wanted something different..something no one would figure out. I gathered that ecstasy gives its users a "rush" just as VTEC gives drivers a "rush" Not that I have ever used an elicit drug
Seemed fitting thats all.

Other than when I met up with some of the Calgary owners last Friday evening, I saw just 1 other S2000 in my 3500km's around Alberta / BC over the last 2 weeks - Silverstone, roof up, Alberta reg. 'DOC ZZZ' in Canmore on 20th August

A very appropriate plate then!
At the risk of taking this thread 'off-topic' what is the deal in Canada with 'personalised' plates - do you have to pay extra for the plates (it is a major industry in the UK, with especially prized plates selling for tens of thousands of pounds (believe it or not!!) or can you have any combination of digits not yet assigned?

RR1 =Rolls Royce 1?
I recall the frenzy about personalized plates in the UK. My folks purchased one from a magazine for 65 GBP. It read "800 EXP" Nothing spectacular, but a personalized plate nonetheless. Next when they purchased their, at the time new "J" plate Ford Orion, there was an Aug 1 sale on personalized plates when they paid something ridiculous like 150GBP for
J123 AAA.
Its just a game. Ian, you're right, the "vanity" plate system in North America is much better.
