Things must be going really well for you. Congratulations.

Where I come from, that car is good enough to take the whole family to Sunday services. And you call it a "beater"

i was only kidding about the beater comment,

things are okay, i do work in the car industry, and suprisingly the german brand has been doing very well.

I had sensed you were kidding.

Nevertheless, Congratulations to you and your future wife

Which German car brand? Porsche, MB, Bimmer, Audi or VW? Service or Sales?
