Hey man, I'm about 6 inches around, 18 inches long, shiny and --- oh wait no, that's my test pipe! And it just arrived

I know what I'm doin after work...forget this out of province inspection crap, apparently my license is suspended in Ontario anyway because of some unpaid fine? I don't have any tickets...and I can't get anybody on the telephone. It hangs up after telling me my call is important to them. Yeah real important.

TP TONIGHT!

So I tried to install my TP today, but couldn't get the front spring-loaded bolts off. One of them started to twist so I immediately stopped trying.

The nut on those front bolts is a WEIRD size. I can't remove it from the rear because using a ratchet twists it on too much of an angle because the spring doesn't stabilize it. Anybody in Calgary install their own TP or have an impact gun and want to give me a hand this weekend? I'll supply the beer.

Thanks...damn I need air tools and a compressor. I'm just going go to Honda and get replacement nuts, bolts and springs, so if I snap the head off of them then it won't be too bad. I don't think they've ever been removed

For any of you guys that have removed the two front cat bolts, is there anything funny about them aside from having a large washer-type head to hold the spring? If I snap the heads off I want to make sure they'll fall out the other side.

$56 for the bolts, nuts, and springs from Honda. That's insane.

That's cos it's specialised stuff! I don't see why some stainless nuts and bolts couldn't also do the job?

guess I'll just snap these off and get new ones then. Crap I need somewhere to go for a quick weld touch up on the flange of my Comptech exhaust. Wonder if anybody will do a quick drive-in repair

I remember just using two regular wrenches on the front bolts... got them off eventually.
