That was my intention, but the nut on the front of them seems to be like an 8/32s or something. I tried every metric and imperial i had but could get a tight fit and didn't want to round it off. I think they're just seized on there pretty good. I'll get some replacements and do it myself, then stop at Carline. Thanks for the tip!

I'm startin to think Maybe Nimesh (PLYRS3) is right about me, I AM a mess!

Mike, a local guy in Burlington put my TP in for $40 (put new crush nut SP?) bolts on and everything. Took him 20 mins.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give this guy here a shot and see if he can throw it on today for me and weld the crack. I don't mind spending a few bucks

Installed!

Went to Carline today and now my TP is on. They tried to talk me out of it because "I'd screw up my computer" but I spun him around, smacked him on the ass and said "get to work."

Okay, maybe it didn't happen exactly like that. But it's on there, nevertheless. They fixed the cracked weld on my rear flange too.

Good price too.

Car sounds good, seems to have a little more punch down on the low end with just a little heavier exhaust smell, not that far off from my 2 stroke snowmobile.

And thanks to 4doorj for puttin me in touch with that shop.

I had no idea what a difference it would make!

I'm thinkin I should go out and reset the ecu to expedite the adjustment. I'll go back there when I need anything exhausty.

With the cracked weld I didn't realize how much the exhaust sound was slowly changing as it cracked more and more. Now I've got my nice comptech tone back, with a little more rasp, as people mentioned. I finally understand!!
