-39C tues morning when I head off to work

My radio in my car fails to work when it's this cold like today. And my shifter starts having trouble going into "P" properly, thus, preventing me from pulling the key out.

So how cold was it yesterday?? Cold enough that on the way to work, the thermostat got stuck CLOSED in the 240SX. I'm driving to work in -35C and the engine is overheating. Needless to say, the heater was working great at full blast. Fortunately, it opened up on the way home, which was enough time for me to get a new thermostat and get the car into the garage and drop in the new part. I think someone "up there" has a cruel sense of irony.

Chris.
