Ford sucks.

The truck isn't even a year old yet, and the weather stripping is falling off, and the doors don't close properly when its this cold.

It also doesn't start at -35, haha.

It is 4:30 here, and it topped -52 w/windchill. Suppose to be nasty nasty tonight. I just started my mazda. The thing started, but my drivers door won't close now. Should be a fun drive home. I mean how can I hold the door, shift, and all the other stuff I do while driving.

Thats why you need a Toyota. The Tundra sits at work for 12 hours, not plugged in and fires up like a charm without any moaning or groaning on the first try. Yes the steering wheel is a little stiff and the shifter too, but all the doors still close properly, windows defog nicely, and tranny shifts smoothly. -35C? Bahh....bring it on God

At -42 and windchill -56 this fine morning, my mazda did go, it was plugged in though. Man is it deathly cold. Makes you wonder how anything runs.

The Weather Network listed Saskatoon at -60C with windchill at 01:00 AM Wednesday morning. I did not plug in the car as it is garaged (not heated). The car started fine but one only wonders how much suffering these cars undergo as they operate under these extreme conditions.

Someone told me Saskatoon was the coldest place in Canada, today, setting an all-time record. Nothing to brag about but it makes me feel good knowing I survived it.

a_peep, funny you should post this. Where I work, we had two guys from our water testing section do this same thing yesterday. Hot water, cold, and it did exactly what this video showed. It was amazing.
