clutch
ok i guess my clutch is now gone! i dont think warranty covers clutches so i will be buying a new one
i know oem clutch's are very expensive so i think i will be going with a aftermarket one... i know nothing about these, does anyone here have an aftermarket clutch that they would reccomend??
what are the differences for stage 1,2,3... what are some advantages for going with a aftermarket exhaust...
i need to pick something up right away, because right now i am not driving my car and i am depressed just seeing it sit in my garage while i drive my ghetto beater the jeep cherokee laredo
I miss my s2k now

What particularily is "gone" in your clutch? Maybe it's just the throw out bearing.
Maybe you could convince the dealer to do the clutch-rattle TSB and give you a new pressure plate under the basis of that TSB.

For clutches, I recommend you get the strongest one that "feels" like stock and has the highest durability. Get one that is sprung with single diaphram pressure plate. For durability, look for a friction disc surface made of Kevlar.
While you are in there, might as well get a lighter flywheel and, if you have the cash, a higher final drive. A lighter flywheel will make the car "feel" more torquey and so will the FD.
I gotta stop coming to this webpage, I had a dream about buying an S2K last night....

Hardtopguy has a "package" deal on a clutch set (OEM disc, ACT HD PP, T.O. bearing). You can also get the lightweight flywheel as part of another "package". His pricing is low enough that even after shipping, conversion and duty, you are still saving money from buying all that stuff separately here.
Go to:

Jeff (HTguy) ships FedEx, so no getting hooped by UPS.
I would recommend NOT going with the "puck" style of clutch disc. They can be very "grabby" for street use - kind of like an "ON/OFF" switch. Many F.I. cars are running the OEM disc with a HD PP. It's the HD PP that helps to preserve your clutch set-up.
