ok!!! i ended up getting a brand new oem clutch, those suckers are expensive!!!

last night me and my friend did the install!!! wow that was a difficult install

i had this install guide:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry1036057

but honestly... we did not do the first 14 steps.... we just lowered the motor, undid the drive shaft... and we were good to go!!! the problems we occured were the starter was attached to the tranny... that was really really hard to get tooo, the bolts on the drive shaft would not come off.... took forever but we got it off...
then the hard part was when we were taking the tranny off the motor... we were pulling but coulndt get it off... but then realized from reading that post, that there was a release fork... so we wasted like an hour there
such a stressful install!... it was our first clutch on a s2000... we did it in 4.5 hours... pretty proud about that...
i will take a pic ofo the old clutch... i guess the owner before me worked it pretty good.... there are rivets holding it together, the rivet heads were being shaved down!!!
now that i got it changed! wow... its a totally different car!!
i was driving my friend 350z, everytime he switched gears you would get pulled back.. i was jealous... but now with the clutch changed... everytime i change gears i get the pull back..., it seems to me like i got alot of missing torque back.. it seems alot!! alot quicker!!! cant emphasize that too much... plus my clutch pedal feels looser, and not as stiff as before...
i was up till 2am doing this inall... but then this morning my check engine light came on so i got to figure out what it is, that is my only problem

sorry about the long post

How many parts did you end up replacing? Cost? Bought locally? How did the flywheel look?

That's not bad at all. I calculate it would have run you about $600.00 from HTguy but you'd have to wait for the items to come.
Next time we have a meet, I'd like to discuss some "pointers" of the job with you for when it's my turn to do it (maybe in the next year or two).
You might want to check you alignment now since the engine cradle also holds onto some suspension parts.

we did check the alighment and it is perfect!... i hope i will be able to remember all the little problems i had!!! if i could lift up the car....i can point out where all the bolts and little problems i had.... you should try my clutch out see if its any different from yours... because my clutch from yesterday is night and day difference!

im just wondering why my engine light is one.. probably one of my sensors... there were like 7 sensors i had to unplug

yeah that price from HT guy sounds good... but thats american... plus i hate ordering off the net.... and i needed something right away... i was getting depressed seeing my car sitting there in the garage

You most likely forgot to plug one back in or it's not plugged in tight. Pull the code. That's the easiest way to find out which one it is.

Glad to hear you've got it all working good again... definitely check all of the sensors, make sure they're all secure. Then just reset the ECU and you should be good.

4.5 hours is pretty quick. It took Village Honda 14-18 hours to replace the clutch pressure disc on my '01.

I never paid anything, I had the clutch rattle TSB completed

It's a long story. They told me 7-8 hours (I'd have it back that same day). I ended up not getting it back for 3 days. I'll never go to Village Honda ever again after that

i have a question for you guys.... i changed my clutch...so that consisted of unplugging all my sensors.... i look underneath they all look good.... but now my check engine light is on... i got it scanned... and it says something about "secondary air flow"... do u have an idea of what that could be?
