Default Diagnostic shop in Calgary for friend?

I have a lady at work here who has a tough time making ends meet and she was quoted $110 just for a shop to plug her car into the diagnostic tool and for them to tell her what is wrong with it. (She drives a 200? Neon)

Can anyone else do this or recommend someone who can do it for a better price?

Just thought I would check on here to help her out.

Thanks guys.

I've got a generic code reader for OB2 cars. PM me if you think it will help her.

^ Thank you. I will talk to her monday and PM you for your number if its ok for her to give you a call.

Her car has 60 - 70, 000 kms so it shouldnt be anything major as she has taken very good car of it. Hopefully, you never know I guess.

Let me guess....maybe did not turn the gas cap enough?

Adding ... this, of course, means simply re-setting the code.....and making sure the cap is on tight in the future.....cost $0.....
