Default Dust!!

The late end of winter has left us with major dust. My gauge face is getting swirl marks from me cleaning it with a cloth. I now just blow in it to clear it. Damn dust everywhere, I don't even want to look what is behind my seats

Yeah, it's brutal. Not only that, in my neighborhood, they have swept the gravel off the boulevards and into the middle of the road 3 different times before sending in the sweepers. With these sticky tires it sounds like I'm driving down an alley.

You guys just gotta get the small California Duster. Only actually wipe the dash occassionally and only with a really soft cloth and lots of cleaner like Windex for the gauge face and a protectant for the rest. Don't get protectant on the steering wheel or you'll be sorrrrry!

I just cleaned my interior just now...and it took me a good 2 hours!....your right guys....SOOOO dusty out there right now.....I think for the guages....u just have to make sure the cloth is damp so u dont risk scratching.....mine was just fine when i wiped it down....

Why dont u get protectant on the steering wheel?.....I used lexol and it worked fine for meee......just makes the leather a bit softer....not sticky or greasy feeling at all.

I find that any kind of treatment on the steering wheel makes it too slippery for a few days till some of it wears off.

Tree sap is the worst. I try not to park under any trees or bushes. Inevitably, the car gets covered with it. I find washing the car with warm to hot water does the trick if the sap is not left on too long. If it is, then it will eventually come off with the next wash or two.
