Default Armor All product - dashboard

In the vain attemp to get the dust off the dashboard of my S, I tried the Armor All Protectant Wipes. They assured me it was not Armor All spray that we all know and love (note the sarcasm there...) and it turned out to be (in my estimation) soft wipes with rubbing alcohol by the smell. The dust was nicely and evenly ground in by the time I was done with this 'high quality product.'

I feel like I need a Swiffer to get the dust off the dash. Any recommendations?

Thanks!
Mark

Mark, you might like the results from using a California Duster. I really love mine. They make two sizes, one for the exterior and a smaller one for the interior.

Those Armor-All wipes are terrible. Watch the dust come back by noon tommorrow. A handy tool to use is the Mini California Duster which works well if used as per the directions. I'm not one for slapping on coat after coat of dash "protectant" which after a while turns into one big grimy, greasy mess. The duster safely removes dust without much smearing, or creating a high gloss sheen (which I dislike).

I use the little California duster on my dash. Anybody try anti-static spray?

calif. dusters are at most K Mart, Walmart type stores.

right next to the "fine" chromed plastic hubcaps!

Works great. A Swifter works great as well.

Big duster keeps the shine on the car, but I'm still fighting the static - esp. the taillight covers.

I just get the little package of refills for those swiffer things - no name version.

take a sheet - do the whole car interior by hand - toss out the sheet. the little box they come in fits in my tub of supplies nicely . .

David, I bought mine at K-Mart and the large duster was $9.95, the small one was $6.95 if memory serves me correctly. They were about half price, I don't know if this was a close out price or not.

Hope that this helps,
Bob
