Edmonton Condo's
Does anyone know of any new condo's that can be purchased in Edmonton for under 200k? I'm moving up there in a few months, and either going to buy an older condo downtown and reno, or look at buying new further out if possible.
Any ideas?

That's going to be rough - sub $200k doesn't get you much in the city right now.
A friend's mother is redeveloping a complex out in the west end, but it won't be on sale for a little while. I can see what kind of timetable it's under.

Dylan,
$200K is going to be tough I'm afraid. My wife and I have a brand-new two bedroom on the west-end that is for sale. It might be out of your preferred price range, (asking $280K) but if you're interested, send me an email/PM and I can fill you in on the details.
Good luck!

I'm really looking to keep the price down, but thanks Asif.
Sylvia is going to be moving to Japan for a year and I'm hoping to be able to go with her, so this condo we buy will eventually become a revenue property while we're gone.
I just wanted to stay central as Sylvia is going to be going to U of A, and she wont be driving while in school, so close proximity to an LRT station would be huge for us.
From the outset I figured my price range was going to be all older condo's, but I figured it didn't hurt to ask if anyone knew of any new stuff in that range.
