Evolution Performance Driving School!
Figured I'd put in another plug for the Evo School......if you are sitting on the fence, go for it. I do not know of anyone not genuinely pleased after taking the school. It is really that good.
Here's a link with more current info on it:

Hmmm....haven't heard for sure Mike except for the following:
Last year is the only year Ron Bauer from Seattle never made it because he was busy and hence too late to sign up for the opportunity as per my conversations with him at Bremerton last year.
Ambrose and I went to the San Diego National Tour last weekend and saw/spoke with him there a few times......and Glen Hernandez also from Seattle who has taught here before. Ron did not commit to anything per se but I think it is a good chance that Ron might be there this year being one of the closest instructors to Calgary......and he, of course, has been through a few S2000's in his time.
I believe Jonathan Roberts from Georgia is intending to come up with his wife and spend some time in the Rockies/Columbia Icefields etc. as well as teaching the school. He has been here for the last two years as well.
The actual no. of instructors will depend on how many people (and hence schools) we get.
I think Jean is just looking at the school now and planning it - just got an email this past week making some inquiries.
So I will probably have to firm up the no. of schools and such real soon here. BTW, Peter said he will take the schools this year as per our Friday lunch.
I recall last year that some people wanted to get in more or less at the last minute and we could not accomodate them because of logistics. These schools have to be arranged ahead of time (think about travel arrangements from almost anywhere in the USA, availability of flights and instructors......EVO is every getting more popular) and with a instructor to student ratio of 1:6 we don't have a lot of extra room to move or change once the schools have been arranged. Also there is the business of shipping timing equipment across the border and such......it can be complicated.
Therefore we need a certain amount of lead time to set up the schools and that is why we need to know well beforehand how many people will be showing up. It takes a certain amount of adjustment and cooperation on the part of all involved. But it is worth it.
With the high ratio of instructors to students you get a LOT of time with them and there is a lot of opportunity to learn as much as you can handle and then some. Also, with so few students in each class you get a lot of seat time albeit the runs are relatively short. I would say you get close to a season's worth of seat time. When you think of it in those terms, it is still cheaper than a season of solo 2 and you get a bonus of National Level instruction. It really is a good deal......plus the level of instruction.....can't go wrong taking it.

This school is a great way for you to safely explore the limits of both the car and driver; mainly the driver...
This is my 10th. year in Solo 2 and have finally decided it's time to learn to drive, so I'll be taking the school....

Thanks Reijo for the detail reply. Yeh, Ron and Jonathan are great
For me the course is a very good opportunity since I can hardly fined the time to participate in the local events, as you know.
I'll try to take the course this year, depending on my work and travel schedule for June, this should clear in about a month.
BTW are you an insomniac, posting at 4AM ?

4am? Yeah, just my usual wandering about in the middle of the night.....this time I thought I'd spend it doing something vaguely resembling usefulness.
