I have one from a former member who gave it to me for free. I plan to use it for track, but would give to you if in need. It is a bit beat up though, but if you can repaint and add a lip, it would be fine.

Saw someone driving their yellow ap2 yesterday top down on 16th ave.
Tomorrow is 14 degrees. Hopefully by the time I get home from work it will still be warm so I can drive top down.

Hopefully this little corner of s2ki picks up. I'm a new addition, picked up my 02 Spa yellow just before the snow hit. Got to drive it for 24 hours and then into winter storage it went.
Reminds me of when I bought my car in the fall of '06. Same day I drove it back from Calgary, we had the first dump of snow. Longest winter ever...
Yup this winter couldnt be dragging on any longer for me.

A bit unrelated, but what is the post count required before I can post up some of the bits and pieces off my s2000 for sale? I want to get the exhaust and sub box listed fairly quickly so I can find a quieter exhaust for the start of next season hopefully.

That would be great! My ap1 bumper is pretty much scrapped up and needs to be replaced and I just ordered the mugen ap2 lip.

Thanks pm'd!

Damn, thats unfortunate. You must have put her away on Nov 11 since thats when the first snowfall was. I was fortunate enough to put mine away that day and have it snow that night.
I had just picked mine up in the fall as well but got lucky with the late snowfall, def looking forward to the summer!

What else is everyone planning to do with their cars this spring?

My clutch packed it up on a trackday in October, so I need a new clutch. I've got my eyes set on an SOS sport clutch.

Then I need to get a new deck I bought into the car, and also buy another one of Modifry's DCIs to interface with it. I originally bought the deck - an Alpine dealio with Bluetooth and iPhone hookup - to go into my older Benz. But then I bought a newer Benz (on the first page of this thread) which won't take a DIN deck, so I've got this Alpine sitting around. That said, I doubt the microphone will work very well for Bluetooth purposes when the top is down and the car is in motion.

I'm also likely going to be driving the car substantially less, but we'll see. My wife and I are expecting our first child in June, so the S2k may just get weekend/evening duties only.

With the baby you guys will be going out as a family on the weekends so you probably wont be driving it alot on the weekends either haha. I rarely get to drive mine.

My wife is on maternity leave right now with my second kid so I won't be spending much on modding this year. Probably this fall I will start buying stuff. I don't want to do much. Probably just coilovers, front lip and exhaust.

Weather has been amazing! I'm getting a little more wear on my Blizzaks because of it (a little more aggressive driving) but it's totally worth it. My wife and I took the S2000 to Banff for three days over the holidays and had a great time. Got about 36 mpg in virtually all highway driving, clear and dry roads and moderate temperatures.

Also got the crack in the windshield fixed at Crackmasters for $53 (7" long crack!) so it was quite inexpensive compared to most other places, plus he warrantied the crack and will repair it for free if it spreads (it hasn't yet).

Got a Maven (in stainless steel) countersunk shift knob from my wife for Christmas so I installed that on Christmas Day. Nice, positive action and the weight is pretty good too. Trying to pick up a set of Rick's floor mats from Kijiji to protect my carpet and that should be it for mods until I get a K&N FIPK in the summer.

Was really tempted to throw on my summer tires for a day or two with the warmer temps but in the end, it wasn't worth the hour of raising and lowering the car on jacks...
