Over spring I'm hoping to get my car to a state where I will be happy hitting the road once all the gravel and snow is clear. So stoked for summer, this is the longest winter ever... and the weather is just taunting me

Here's my spring hit list in no particular order:

1. Remove and sell AxialFlow Short shifter and reinstall stock shifter
2. Remove and sell custom fiberglass molded sub box
3. Remove AP1 door cards, install AP2 door cards
4. Try and find an AP2 center console to swap in
5. Remove and sell Magnaflow exhaust setup
6. Replace AP1 valve retainers with AP2
7. Polish and restore headlight lenses
8. Power Polish and detail
9. Repair cracking leather bolster
10. Maybe - Remove Dash trim and cf wrap it

Might be interested in the Magnaflow exhaust setup, if it'll fit an AP2. Would want to hear it first, though!

I think it should fit an AP2. At least according to the site: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?id=7052

I'll have to make a sound clip and get it uploaded in the near future before I pull it off the car.

Heh, I'm still going to keep the car and keep it insured for driving duties. I think I will flog it one day to fund a 911 purchase, but that's in the distant future. It's all paid for, it's supercharged, just going to enjoy it now!

I suppose I could still use it for my summer daily driving, I Just have a short commute to work, and it's not like I'm taking my family with me to work, right? I will also continue to play ball hockey in the summers, so I'll have those trips to enjoy the car too.

And if not...maybe I'll just keep it around, polish it with a diaper and stare at it...

I only got to drive it almost solely on the highway for less than 24 hours before parking it. Highway was loud for my tastes although I'm a stock exhaust sound level kinda guy so my tastes are definitely different than others, but it didnt seem to really drone. Had the radio on and could hear the music at a reasonable setting. It did get loud around 3k if I was hard on the gas and really loading the engine in higher gears. I'll try and make a video clip of parked and driving before removing it from the car because really hearing it for yourself is the only way to really judge for yourself I think.

Wrecked the yellow one (racing in an oval and wife smacked it into the wall). Bought an '02 replacement (red), so I'll need to get it fixed up for summer racing duties.

Sway bar, hitch, many, many tires...

Just the man I wanted to see, I was just reading one of your autox threads on beyond.ca
I think I'd like to come out and to some events and learn a thing or two about my car this season.

Wow its been too long since I've hit the forums..

@ Vince, congrats on the kid on the way!
@ Jon, if you are interested in a AEM V2 intake silver in color i have one hiding somewhere in my attic, shoot me a PM if you want it.

as for me, my cars tucked in the corner of my garage on some dollies. Which are awesome, made my oversized 2 car fit my s2k, my roomies MR2, a bobcat and my xterra and still room to work on everything.
My spring list:
- remove soft top (pretty much done already)
- powder coat valve cover and hood screens
- roll rear fenders, new tires rub
- dip tint side glass (if anyone knows where i can get this done in edmonton, lmk)
- full polish/was/touch ups
- downforce side diffusers
- hood dampers
- maybe some seats
- start saving for a full laskey head/block, 9.5:1 compression, and then bump up to 16psi and retune
